Enquiry retention

We retain website enquiry information for three months from the date we receive the enquiry. At the end of this period, all information relating to the enquiry is securely destroyed.

The form asks for your name, work email, company, location, support requirements and message. You may also provide a phone number. This information is used to respond to your enquiry and discuss the services you request.

Why we use your information

We use enquiry details to answer your questions, understand your requirements and discuss relevant services. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact our business. Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you personally, we also process the information needed for those steps. Providing information is voluntary, but we may be unable to respond without sufficient contact details.

Hosting and email

Hostinger provides our website hosting and the info@safetyman.net mailbox. Enquiry emails are not automatically forwarded to another mailbox. Our authorised personnel use your information to handle your enquiry, and Hostinger processes it as needed to provide hosting, email and related support.

International processing

Hostinger uses an international service infrastructure and subprocessors. Its Data Processing Addendum describes its processing arrangements and applicable safeguards for international transfers, including standard contractual clauses and the UK transfer addendum where applicable. We are setting up Google Analytics to understand website visits and improve our services. Analytics is optional and remains off unless you select Accept analytics. You can reject analytics and continue using this website, or reopen Privacy choices at any time to change your decision. The lawful basis for optional analytics is your consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing.

Our privacy-choice control stores your choice and the date in your browser for up to 180 days. This preference is used only to remember your decision. If Analytics is enabled with your permission, Google processes visit information such as the pages viewed, device and browser details, referral source and approximate location. We do not send enquiry form text, names, email addresses or phone numbers to Analytics.
