BEYOND SENDING A MESSAGE

Help your message land.
Help every voice be heard.

A briefing can sound clear to the person delivering it and still leave others unsure. A quick decision may feel energising to one colleague and rushed to another. Silence may mean someone needs time to think, rather than that they agree.

Prism Connect helps teams explore these differences with curiosity. Through guided discussion and practical exercises, people learn to check assumptions, adapt their approach and agree what happens next.

CLARITY

Check what was understood.

Practise explaining a message, inviting questions and checking the other person’s understanding before moving on.

ENGAGEMENT

Make contribution easier.

Use different ways to invite ideas, allow reflection and listen to quieter voices. Make it clear how people’s input will be used.

TEAMWORK

Agree how to work together.

Turn insight into shared habits for meetings, handovers, feedback and resolving differences. Clearer expectations can reduce avoidable friction and support productivity.

THE PRISM PERSONALITY TOOL

Know your patterns.
Get curious about theirs.

Prism explores four behavioural styles: Doer, Socialiser, Thinker and Relater. Everyone can draw on all four. Your profile offers a starting point for discussing how you communicate, what you tend to prioritise and what may change under pressure.

DOER / ACTION

Make the next step clear.

Explore when a direct approach helps, and when more listening brings a better decision.

SOCIALISER / EXPRESSION

Make space for ideas.

Explore how enthusiasm opens a conversation, and how to turn it into a clear agreement.

THINKER / REFLECTION

Make room to consider.

Explore the value of detail and preparation, alongside the need to decide and move forward.

RELATER / CONNECTION

Make participation easier.

Explore how listening builds relationships, and how to raise a concern when agreement feels easier.

These are prompts for a conversation, not instructions for how to treat someone. Ask colleagues what helps them communicate and use their answers to guide your approach.

Prism is an original, unvalidated personal-development tool. It does not diagnose, predict performance or provide a basis for recruitment or employment decisions.

DIVERSITY WITHIN THE TEAM

More perspectives.
More ways to connect.

Personality is only one part of the picture. Culture, language, experience, role, accessibility needs and the situation all influence how people interact. Our approach encourages teams to explore those differences without reducing anyone to a colour, a profile or a cultural stereotype.

UNDERSTAND

Ask before you assume.

Explore preferences for pace, detail, feedback and participation. Recognise that the same person may need a different approach in a different situation.

INCLUDE

Create several ways to contribute.

Combine discussion with reflection, written ideas and clear follow-up. Help people contribute without expecting everyone to communicate in the same way.

FROM AWARENESS TO APPLICATION

Practise the conversations
your workplace relies on.

01 / A SHIFT HANDOVER

Build a shared picture.

Practise summarising priorities, inviting questions and checking what the next shift needs. Agree who will do what, and when.

02 / A DIFFICULT CONVERSATION

Stay curious under pressure.

Explore how to describe a concern, listen to another perspective and agree a practical next step without making assumptions about intent.

03 / A TEAM MEETING

Turn participation into action.

Try ways to balance discussion and reflection, draw out different views and finish with clear decisions and responsibilities.

These are examples of workshop activities. We choose relevant scenarios with you and agree the content, group size and duration before delivery.

  • Choose the optional paid report for deeper reflection.
  • Discuss with us how online discovery can support a wider team programme.

Online assessment and report access are separate from facilitated team training unless your proposal includes them. Contact us to discuss support for teams in different locations.

EXPERIENCE THAT UNDERSTANDS YOUR WORKPLACE

International perspective.
Practical application.

Established in 2012, Safetyman brings international energy and production experience across the US, Europe, Asia and South America. Our coaching and mentoring experience spans multiple cultures, with particular strength in oil and gas, construction and manufacturing.

We understand that communication needs to work across disciplines, contractors, shifts and levels of responsibility. We shape the discussion around your operating environment and the relationships that matter to your team.

KEEP THE CONVERSATION GOING

Build habits that last.

Use follow-up coaching and mentoring to review what people have tried, what helped and what needs adjusting. Agree simple indicators of progress, such as clearer handovers, more useful feedback or greater participation in meetings.

USEFUL ANSWERS

Start with understanding.

Who is Prism Connect for?

Leaders, managers, supervisors and teams who want to improve everyday communication and working relationships. We tailor onsite training to the group and its objectives.

Will people be labelled by personality?

No. Everyone can draw on all four Prism styles, and a profile is a prompt for reflection. We encourage people to explain their own preferences and recognise how context affects their behaviour.

Do team members have to share their results?

Participants choose which personal insights they share. We agree expectations before a session and focus on useful conversations and team practices, rather than comparing scores.

Can we combine onsite training with online Prism?

Yes. Online discovery can provide a starting point for onsite discussion and practical exercises. We confirm assessment access, report options and facilitated sessions within the agreed scope.
